Easy-Peasy Contouring with Bourjois' Delice De Poudre Bronzing and Highlighting Duo

Contouring is in BIG demand at the moment, and I have always loved the beautiful bronzed summer look that has featured on many celebrities, from Kim Kardashian (the selfie queen) to models such as Cara Delevingne. Are you ready to give yourself cheekbones like Angelina Jolie?… YES PLEASE!!

After Bourjois’ success of their original bronzer, they have come up with a fantastic double version for contouring and highlighting.

I LOVE Bourjois' Delice De Poudre Duo. It’s matt soft texture works perfectly, creating that warm shadow to sculpt the face. I also adore Bourjois’ new Delice De Poudre Bronzer, which has a touch of gold, creating a perfect goddess like glow for your cheekbones. I find that these products are very versatile… you can even add that extra gleam to your eyes! To top it all off, these brilliant bronzers look and have the delicious scent of chocolate, how could I resist?

This fantastic look is not just for summer; it’s also a great way to warm your skin in the winter months. In my opinion suits all skin tones, especially olive ones… however paler skin tones (like me) can easily create that naturally tanned glow as well (by using a lighter touch of Bourjois’ yummy chocolate powder on the brush)

Many models sport the contoured makeup in various fashion shows

I couldn’t wait to test out and enhance my natural bone structure with the Delice De Poudre Duo, costing an affordable £7.99 (what a bargain!)

Here are some easy steps to create your contoured look (without looking fake) :

1. To start, apply your usual foundation base (I use Bourjois’ Healthy Mix Foundation) or matte down the skin along the cheek bone area with a translucent powder, to stop the bronzer becoming patchy.

 2. Look in the mirror with your chin tilted downwards, then suck in your cheeks.
Sweep your brush over Bourjois Delice duo powder, (flick off any excess) and then apply the delightful powder directly under your cheekbones.
Dust the powder briskly in upward strokes to create that deep intense shadow that Kim Kardashian is famous for.

3. For an exaggerated lifting effect, take the brush up over the temple area and around the eye.

4. Finish by sweeping the lighter shade on top of the cheekbone, and along the V shape of your eye area. This will add a natural illuminated glow, further enhancing your bone structure. Use any leftover powder on your brush to dust under your chin.

Have you tried Bourjois' Delice De Poudre Duo? If not, you should definitely go out and buy this fabulous product at Boots, Asos or on their website: http://www.bourjois.co.uk costing only £7.99.
I love Bourjois' new bronzing and highlighting product, which has had many impressive reviews. It can be scary to test this look on paler skin tones (like me), however I found it very easy to create some sexy cheekbones... I can't wait to use it soon!
